PET is used over and over

We get it. Some people don’t recycle because they don’t believe their “waste” will get used again. Here’s the thing: It does! Your recycled PET and HDPE plastic containers, especially water bottles, can go on to have another life—as gym clothes, a hoodie, shoes, carpets—even new bottles. Want to be a recycling hero and help increase recycling rates? Simply put your empty plastic bottle in the bin (with the cap on) after you’ve emptied it. That simple action will give your bottle a chance at a second life—and go a long way in helping to increase recycling rates! #RecycleRight #PutItInTheBin #H2OFactCheck

IBWA encourages all members and Put It In The Bin partners to share our weekly reels on their social media accounts by doing one of the following options:

Option 1: Share IBWA’s reel from our Facebook here or our Instagram here.

Option 2: Post the reel yourself by following the instructions below.

You may be wondering, what is a reel? Instagram stories and Facebook reels are vertical videos that can last up to 90 seconds. These short, attention-grabbing videos have become the fastest-growing feature on these platforms and are favored by the algorithm, which means you can get a lot more engagement for your brand.

These videos are designed to be used with “trending music.” How do you find “trending music?” – It’s easy. Just scroll through the Reels or Audio page and look for a little arrow pointing upwards next to the audio icon – this means it is trending. You can save and use this audio with the reels in the PIITB campaign.
